Central Railway  invites ONLINE applications  from  the eligible  sports  persons who are citizens of India, for filling up 21 posts of the Sports Quota (as in item 2)  for  the  year 2016-17 over  Central  Railway. The  posts  are  open to  all regardless of Community. There is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC.  Further, only the candidates qualified in the Selection Trials shall be called for Interview.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years  and  maximum 25 years  as  on 01/ 01/ 2017. Candidates born between  01/01/1992  and  01/01/1999 (both  days  inclusive)  should  only apply.  Candidates  born  on  or  before  31/12/1991  are  not  eligible.  Similarly, candidates born on or after 02/01/1999 are also not eligible. (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any Community of candidate).

Educational Qualification:

Level 5/4: Minimum Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University.

Level 3/2: Minimum   HSC/Intermediate/Equivalent from   a recognized   Board, affiliated to COBSE/ India or any other recognized Board.

Selection Process:  Candidates are selected based on Trial & Medical Fitness Test.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay of Rs. 500/- for all and Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PH/ Women/ Minorities/ EBC candidates through debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking/ Bank Challan.
