In pursuance of office Order No. AAU/RG/BoM-242(AT)/2016-17 and with the approval of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, the following candidates are hereby appointed in the post of Junior Accountant, temporarily in the Pay Band of Rs. 5,200-20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3,300/- and other allowances as admissible under the University rules against vacant posts in the Offices/Establishments as shown against their name(s). Inter se-seniority will be as per merit list of the Selection Committee.

The selected candidates are appointed on the following terms and conditions:-
1. He/She shall have to join the post within 21(twenty one) days from the date of issue of this order failing which the appointment order shall be treated as cancelled.
2. He/She shall be on probation for a period of 1(one) year as per Group B of AAU Service regulation 1987 Clause 6(a).
3. He/She will be governed by New Pension System (NPS).
4. His/her service is transferable and he/she may be required to serve in any place within the jurisdiction of the University.
5. He/She will not be entitled to any T.A./D.A. for joining the post.
6. The appointment is provisional subject to the following:-
i) Submission of Release Order from present employer, if applicable.
ii) Submission of medical fitness certificate by Registered Medical Officer.
7. Production of original certificates and other testimonials to the Head of the institution/ office in the time of joining in the new post.
