It is for information of all concerned in connection with the recruitment to the post of Block Development Officer (BDO) under P&RD Department that the Commission, in pursuance of the legal opinion dated 6.3.2017 of the learned Advocate General, Assam, had cancelled the viva-voce including the screening test and written examination for the said post and decided to hold the said examination afresh vide Notification No.39PSC/PS-9/2016-2017 dated 8th March, 2017. Thereafter, the Commission vide Notification No.166PSC/DR-25/1/2014-2015 dated 21st July, 2017 decided to hold the screening Test afresh on 13.08.2017 at Guwahati centre.
However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the Commission has decided to postpone the said examination to be held on 13.08.2017.
